About the Ceremony: The Baci Ceremony is a long-standing tradition in Laos. It is an integral part of Lao culture, serving as a sacred way to bestow blessings on significant events such as the birth of a baby or a wedding, as well as on more routine occasions like purchasing a new house, embarking on a long journey, or welcoming guests into one’s home.
