Chào Asia Travel’s name, derived from the Vietnamese greeting “xin chào,” embodies the essence of hospitality and cultural immersion. “Xin chào!”—a simple word with the power to initiate a conversation and reveal the stories and heritage of a person, a destination, or a culture. It also has the power to conclude a conversation happily, much like how Spanish speakers bid farewell with “ciao” to their friends.

FOUNDER

Trang was born in Hanoi and has been working in the travel industry since June 2015. She earned a Master’s Degree In Marketing from Exeter University in the UK. Upon returning home, she founded Skill Me Up, a non-profit educational project that provides life skills for underprivileged children in Vietnam, fully funded by the Embassy of the United States through the YSEALI’s Seed for the Future Grant.

Before joining the travel industry, she traveled by motorbike from Vietnam to Laos for 15 days in 2015. She has been fortunate enough to travel around Vietnam and other countries in Southeast Asia since then, and the beauty of these places and their people really inspired her. She decided to found Chào Asia Travel to share her love of travel with the world. Trang speaks English and Spanish and knows basic Portuguese and Chinese. Her favorite quote is: “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life”.

CO-FOUNDER

Graduating from EU Business School in Barcelona with a degree in Tourism & Hospitality, My Pham has been working in the travel industry since 2015. She is a cheerful, friendly person with a strong passion for travel and gastronomy. She has traveled to nearly 20 countries worldwide and spent 3 years working in Malaysia. My knows every corner of Vietnam and where to find the best food on earth. Together with Trang, she founded Chào Asia Travel to introduce her beautiful country to the world and deliver excellent services so that clients can return with satisfaction.

Carlos, a Spanish national married to a Vietnamese wife, is Chào Asia Travel’s representative in Spain. He lives in Granada with his family but considers Hanoi his second home. He has a deep love for Vietnam, its beautiful landscapes, friendly people, and local cuisine. With a passion for travel, he avoids mass tourism, preferring less crowded destinations where he can savor local food and connect with local people.
