Central Vietnam is set to become even more accessible to international travelers with the announcement of three new flight routes connecting Da Nang with major cities across Asia and the Middle East. These new services, launching in the coming months, promise to boost tourism and offer greater convenience for those eager to explore the region’s stunning coastlines, vibrant culture, and historical sites.
Vietnam Airlines is bolstering its commitment to Da Nang with the resumption of its Bangkok – Da Nang route. Starting March 30, 2025, the airline will offer four flights per week, providing a convenient link between Thailand and the popular Vietnamese destination. This resumption is welcome news for travelers seeking a quick and easy getaway to Central Vietnam’s beaches and attractions.
Further expanding Da Nang’s reach, Emirates Airlines is expected to launch a new route connecting Dubai – Bangkok – Da Nang in June 2025. This highly anticipated service will open up direct access to Central Vietnam from the Middle East and beyond, offering travelers from Europe, Africa, and the Americas a more streamlined journey. The connection through Bangkok also offers further travel flexibility.
Finally, Japan will also enjoy increased connectivity with the launch of Vietnam Airlines’ Osaka – Da Nang route. Starting July 3, 2025, four weekly flights will make it easier than ever for Japanese tourists to experience the beauty and charm of Central Vietnam.
These new flight routes are expected to significantly boost tourism in Central Vietnam. Increased accessibility will make the region more attractive to international visitors, leading to a surge in tourism-related businesses and creating new job opportunities. Local businesses, from hotels and restaurants to tour operators and souvenir shops, are poised to benefit from the influx of travelers.
The new connections also offer greater flexibility and convenience for travelers. With more flight options, tourists can easily plan their itineraries and explore the diverse attractions of Central Vietnam, including the ancient city of Hoi An, and the imperial city of Hue.
The added convenience and accessibility are expected to particularly benefit long-haul travelers, who can now reach Central Vietnam with fewer layovers and less travel time. This will make the region a more appealing destination for those seeking a unique and enriching travel experience.
